vivo T4 Lite 5G — Review, Specs & Price in India

Post by Murali K »

vivo T4 Lite 5G
★ Full Specification Sheet ★
Two-day battery and go-anywhere toughness on a ₹10k budget — if you can forgive the HD screen.

⭐ Quick Verdict
Overall Rating★★★☆☆ (3 / 5)
Best ForBattery-first buyers who want 2-day endurance, dual-SIM 5G, a headphone jack and microSD — NOT gamers or photographers.
Launch / Street PriceLaunch ₹9,999 – ₹12,999 · Current street ~₹14,500+ (inflated above launch — clearing stock)
Standout Feature6000mAh battery plus IP64 + MIL-STD-810H durability at ~₹10k

📊 Rating Breakdown
(Editorial — my judgement, adjust to taste.)
Display★★½☆☆ Big, bright (1000 nits) and smooth 90Hz — but only HD+ and LCD.
Performance★★★☆☆ Dimensity 6300 handles daily use and light multitasking; not a gaming chip.
Camera★★½☆☆ Usable 50MP in daylight; 2MP depth is filler; weak 5MP selfie; 1080p cap.
Battery★★★★☆ Genuinely 1.5–2 days — but 15W charging is slow for a 6000mAh cell.
Value★★★☆☆ Fair at the ₹9,999 launch; poor at today's inflated street price.

✅ Pros
  • Massive 6000mAh battery — comfortably 1.5–2 days of real use
  • IP64 + MIL-STD-810H toughness, rare in this price band
  • 90Hz refresh + 1000-nit HBM screen (smooth, readable outdoors)
  • Keeps the trio budget rivals drop: dedicated microSD slot, 3.5mm jack AND FM radio
  • Dual 5G, Android 15 (Funtouch 15) with 2 OS + 3 yrs security updates
  • Reliable side-mounted fingerprint reader
❌ Cons
  • Only HD+ (720 x 1600) on a 6.74" panel — visibly soft, ~260ppi
  • Slow 15W charging — a big cell takes a long time to fill
  • "Dual camera" is really 50MP + a 2MP depth sensor; effectively one usable camera
  • No NFC — no tap-to-pay
  • No gyroscope — breaks some games, VR and sensor-based features
  • Heavy at 202g; USB 2.0 speeds; LCD not AMOLED
  • Street price now sits above launch — weak value versus newer rivals

🏁 Bottom Line
The T4 Lite 5G is a battery-and-durability play, not an all-rounder. You get genuinely excellent endurance, useful IP64 + military-grade toughness, and old-school extras rivals keep dropping — a headphone jack, microSD slot and FM radio. But you pay for it with a low-res HD+ LCD, pokey 15W charging, no NFC, no gyroscope, and a "second camera" that's really just a depth sensor. At ₹9,999 it made sense; at today's inflated street price it's a much harder sell against newer rivals.
